This Certificate is designed to prepare you share your faith boldly, without fear, in any situation, publicly and privately. Being intentional and relational in reaching the lost is the focal point. Moving from theory to practical engagement is key to sharing your faith. It is about making evangelism part of your DNA and part of your everyday routine.

This course will identify how Jesus shared the good news, how He related to different people, the claims He made, the miracles He performed, and what you can learn about His character. Knowing how Christ interacted gives you the clues and foundation to approach your relationships when sharing the good news. The goal of the course is to encourage you to engage with those God puts in your path.

Practical Tools for Sharing Your Faith (Course 3)

Course 3 Introduction

Welcome to the ShareWord Global Evangelism Certificate courses, “Everyday Evangelism That’s Intentional and Relational.” This material seeks to encourage you to make outreach and evangelism part of your daily routine. This course is offered to you as a personal opportunity to grow. The lessons can be used as personal study, devotionals, or for small groups.

This overview course complements our ShareWord Global Evangelism Certificate workshops. We know it can be easy to leave a workshop or training with a lot of good ideas, but ongoing training leads us to take action in our personal life.

Think of these studies as an adventure. May it change your thinking and daily actions in such a way that you not only become aware of people who are in need of a relationship with Christ, but you engage with people in a deliberate and active way. In essence, evangelism is the process of loving one another because Christ first loved us.

The Armor of God

In Ephesians 6 we find an amazing section of scripture where Paul explains each item of the armor of God.  Each item has been meticulously crafted to help God’s people as they learn to stand in a world full of evil.  Each item also works together with the whole outfit in order to bring victory against the enemies of the church and the family.   This course is taught by Pastor Alan Clark from Gateway Community Church in Franklin Tennessee.  You will learn context and cultural insights that bring the armor of God to life.  You will also gain a valuable tool that makes our prayers more effective as we learn how to stand with the armor of God in place.

Alan Clark is the Lead Pastor at Gateway Community Church in Franklin Tennessee. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in music and went on to receive the Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Ft. Worth Texas.  He is an avid reader and Bible student who loves learning, teaching, and discovering deeper truths about the love of God.  In his free time Alan loves cycling in the hills of Tennessee, but his favorite time of the day is heading home to his wife, Kim, and his amazing daughters.

Everyday Evangelism That’s Intentional and Relational (Course 1)

ShareWord Global Evangelism Certificate Course 1

What holds you back from talking about your faith? If you’re like most of us, it’s probably fear. This three-part certificate course was designed with that in mind. Through the journey of this certificate, it is our hope that you will see that you can have a powerful witness for Christ, and that it’s easier than you might think.

Following the model of relational evangelism, we will take examples from Jesus’ life and learn how to apply it to our own relationships and routines. The call is for every believer to introduce people to Jesus; there is an urgency to the Great Commission. Be encouraged by the simplicity of sharing the gospel, emboldened to move past fear, and equipped with practical tools for initiating faith conversations.

3 Ways to Improve Flow in Worship Sets

Grammy and Dove Award-nominated Christian artist, songwriter, producer and worship leader Rob Frazier presents three elements he has discovered that effectively create “flow” in a worship set.  The primary focus is upon proper song selection,  presentation and meaningful  transitions essential to creating a musical service of worship.  The three elements are:

  1. Theme
  2. Mood (or atmosphere)
  3. Choosing sympathetic keys

Journey with him as he uses contemporary songs and hymns to demonstrate each of these three elements in a brief and concise video course with study guides for each video.  There are also three short quizzes interspersed throughout the course in order to assess understanding and earn a certificate of completion.

How to Return Discipleship to the Front Lines of Faith

Based on the book GO by New York Times best-selling author, speaker, and teacher Preston Sprinkle, this course explains that much of contemporary discipleship is informed by instinct, and as such it is vulnerable to the whims and trends of the broader culture, which can take us further away from a biblical model and mandate. Drawing on a 2015 Barna Group study of the state of discipleship in the United States that was commissioned by The Navigators, this course provides a holistic, biblical response for discipleship, providing accessible tools for all those who are engaged in making Christ-followers in the 21st century.

Preston Sprinkle is a professor, speaker, and a New York Times bestselling author. He earned a Ph.D. in New Testament from Aberdeen University in Scotland (2007), and he’s been a professor of theology at Cedarville University (OH), Nottingham University (England), and Eternity Bible College (CA and ID).

7 Words of Worship

Seven Words of Worship

The Key to a Lifetime of Experiencing God

Many recent studies show that there is a deep and growing interest in the subject of worship. It makes sense: Worship is, after all, the primary reason we gather as the body of Christ each week and focus our attention and energy on giving glory to God. Through worship, we encounter our Savior in powerful, life-changing ways.

In Seven Words of Worship, students will experience God through authentic, biblical worship, using seven simple words as a guide. These teachings are amplified by captivating, real-life stories that will inspire and equip the student to develop a lifestyle of worship.

This eight-class course features personal reflections, biblical studies, and videos from Mike Harland, the Former Director of Worship at LifeWay Christian Resources.
