A Prayer of Jesus

Matthew 18:19, 20 (NLT)
“I also tell you this: If two of you agree down here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together because they are mine, I am there among them.”

A Theme to Remember:
While the need for private, personal prayer is mentioned most frequently in Scripture, these verses remind us that we are part of God’s family. When we pray together, in the name of Christ, our prayers powerfully unite us in collective worship and in common purpose.

Words to Remember:
The Bible knows nothing of solitary religion.
