I was fascinated to discover that Ty Cobb, the famous American League Baseball great, discovered on his deathbed what he’d needed all along: Jesus!
On July 17, 1961, he received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, then said, “You tell the boys I’m sorry it was the last part of the 9th that I came to know Christ. I wish it had taken place in the 1st half of the 1st!”
By worldly standards, Ty Cobb had it all. Yet he found he really had nothing until he met the Savior!
