2 Chronicles 14:11 (ESV)
And Asa cried to the LORD his God, “O LORD, there is none like you to help, between the mighty and the weak. Help us, O LORD our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this multitude. O LORD, you are our God; let not man prevail against you.”
A Theme to Remember:
If we turn back to Old Testament times, we have no lack of instances of prayer miracles. The saints of those days were well acquainted with the power of prayer to move God to do great things. Natural laws did not stand in the way of Almighty God when He was appealed to by His praying ones. (Adapted from E.M. Bounds, The Necessity of Prayer)
Words to Remember:
We have imprisoned God when we think we can’t take any more difficulties or sorrows. He is waiting to hear from us. It is time to cry out for God’s tender mercies and unfailing love. He is faithful.
